Published every year since 1998, poster giving environmental facts and figures of the year backed up with caricatures of Muhittin Koroglu. Designed by Cagla Turgul. Both honorary members of Greensteps.It is distributed to schools and to those interested.

Water in the Mediterranean

This book, which is all about Water, is targeted for students from elementary through high school and for the educators. In the process of providing its readers with basic knowledge in all the subjects about Water, it also plants the urge to be curious, to question, search, and discover. This book teaches that the environmental issues and problems do not have any boundaries, and affect everyone.

In order to reach the objective for sustainable use of water, we have to learn how to manage in an integrated way the water resources and change in a positive way our behaviour and our overall ‘water culture’. It aims to enhance our willingness and abilities to act more wisely for the protection of the environment and the management of natural resources in the framework of of sustainable development.

This educational package consists two parts. The first part gives theoretical information about Water. The second part includes 45 activities which focus on developing and understanding basic concepts related to water. They are designed to be conducted by students themselves under the guidance of the teacher. Since this package was prepared with an interdisciplinary approach, it can be used in different courses such as Science, Turkish Literature, Social Sciences, History, Geography, Art and even Mathematics.

Galip Arslan, is an environmentalist, a naturalist by nature. His life and his efforts to protect the nature is an inspiration our lives which we believed to be extended to future generations. Thus in this book,his life is narrated by İlhami Algör. This book, is not only written for the forest lovers or the experts of nature, or politics but for all us who wants to share the journey of forest management policies for the last 50 years, extending from Küre forests to big cities, and then back to nature.

A poster which was prepared in 2002 with the sponsorship of EU and MIO-ECSDE. Aims to provide practical knowledge for the conservation of water at home/ school/ urban spaces. 5000 copies were printed and distributed to schools.

kitabıdır. Okuyucusuna Su ile ilgili tüm konularda temel bilgileri verirken, keşfetme, araştırma, merak hissi aşılar. Çevre sorunlarının sınır tanımadığını ve Akdeniz havzasında yaşayan herkesin doğayı, suyu korumak, israf etmemek, doğru kullanmak konusunda kendi yaşamından başlayarak çeşitli sorumlu davranışlar geliştirmesi, araştırma, bilgi edinme ve sorumlu bir birey olarak harekete geçmesi gerektiği mesajını verir. Çalışma ve deneylerden kazandırdığı tecrübeyle çevresini etkilemeye yöneltir.

Bu eğitim paketi, 2 bölümden oluşuyor. Birinci Bölüm: Su ile ilgili teorik bilgiler. İkinci bölüm ise çeşitli uygulamalar, deneyler, etkinlik ve araştırma önerileri yani aktif ders işleme yönetimi ile hazırlanmıştır. Kara bakal Ötüyor KİTAP ÇALIŞMASI

Batı Karadeniz ormanlarında doğa koruma çalışmaları yapan Bartın, Ulus ilçesi, Aşağıçerçi köylüsü Galip Arslan'la yapılan söyleşiler ve orman politikalarının 1950 lerden bu yana etkileri üzerine bir kitaptır.

	Kitap projeleri Bu proje her yıl yeni bir kitap eklemesiyle sürdürülmesi hedeflenen en önemli çalışmadır. Uluslararası ortak bir proje olan Akdenizde Su kitabı yanında: Öğrencilere çevre eğitimini etkinliklerle, tartışma sorularıyla, deneylerle, eğlendirerek vermeyi ilke edinen Yeşil Adımlar, iki kitap daha hazırladı; Birincisi, çeşitli yayınlardan derlenen lköğretim Çağındaki Çocuklar için Eğlenceli/Öğretici Çevre Etkinlikleri taslak halinde fotokopi baskısı ile 500 civarında öğretmene dağıtıldı.

	Suyun Dört Mevsimi 2002 yılında AB ve MIO-ECSDE sponsorluğunda hazırlanan su posteridir.Mevsimlere göre ev / okul / kent yaşamında neler yapılması gerektiğini anlatan ve su tasarrufunu işleyen poster 5000 adet olmak üzere bastırılıp, okullara dağıtıldı.
